When the weather gets chilly, take your smolder with you. Rich bold lips and a smoky sultry eye are a surefire way to keep things warm this winter.
But how to avoid looking like you used actual charcoal from the fire? I recommend Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam pallete for this look. Just follow the steps below:
-Prep your eyelid with a translucent powder all over. Dust of the excess with a clean brush. This gives your “smoke” something to blend into. -Use a soft brown transition color first to map out your placement. Create the shape you want and gently blend away the edges. -Less is more. When you go for that dark shadow, tap off the excess and use a minimal amount. Start at your lash line and work you way out and up in the shape you created. Blend blend blend. Then blend some more. Keep your brush strokes small and circular.
-Blend and Build. Move your brush strokes up and out in a circular pattern. Continue to build up the pigment until the desired smolder is achieved.
Lush up those lips Red has a case of second place syndrome. It lost only to blue in the competition for largest pigment molecule, and it’s still bitter about it. That bitterness is often expressed in the form of disobedient lipstick.
We’ve all experienced the wrath of red at one point or other- “why is it on my teeth and my elbow??” No judgement. Been there.
The solution is LIQUID. Liquid lip formulas are relatively new to the scene but have made a huge impact for their precise application and impressive staying power. Put it where you want it, let it dry, and you’re off a-caroling your cares away.
But if you plan on spending some time under the mistletoe, I still recommend good ol’ cherry chapstick. ;)
